2 Banana Bread

( Easy & Moist Banana Bread )



You will need

  • 9 x 5 Loaf Pan

  • Mixing Bowl or Stand Mixer


Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter, melted

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 ½ cups AP flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • ½ cup chopped walnuts ( Optional )

  • 2 med banana, mashed



Instructions


  • Pre-heat oven to 350 F / 177 C / 4 Gas Mark

  • Grease the loaf pan, you can add parchment paper for easy loaf removal later

  • Stir together the butter and sugar

  • Add the eggs and milk, and mix well

  • Add the flour, baking soda & salt, and stir until smooth




  • Fold in the sour cream, banana & nuts

  • Spread into loaf pan

  • Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean

  • Cool for about 10 minutes in the pan

  • Remove to a cooling rack and allow to cool completely

  • Enjoy




Notes


  • This is a really moist bread, and an easy way to use a couple of bananas that are maybe a touch beyond your idea of ripe. They should honestly be almost black on the outside, so they are nice and soft.
