You will need
Large Sheet Pan
Parchment Paper or Foil
Small Bowl
Ingredients
8 whole medium carrots
8 slices bacon
¼ cup maple syrup
Black pepper to taste
Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 400 F / 205 C / 6 Gas Mark
Line the sheet pan with parchment or foil
Peel the carrots
Wrap each carrot with a slice of bacon
Place onto prepared pan, repeat to use all the bacon & carrots
Brush each carrot with some maple syrup
Sprinkle each carrot with black pepper
Bake in oven for about 15 minutes
Take out, flip carrots, brush each carrot with more syrup and sprinkle on more pepper
Bake for another 15 minutes or so, until carrots are tender, and bacon is cooked

Notes
You can make as many carrots as you want, but 4 makes a good serving. You could also use this same process with asparagus or parsnips, any long vegetable you enjoy..
