Just For Cupcake Tattooed “I'm Only Here For The Sugars”

This was something that I whipped up for Jen's Birthday. They turned out wonderful.
You will need
Cupcake Papers
Large Mixing Bowl
Hand Mixer
Ingredients
Angel Food Cake Mix (homemade or store bought)
Cherry Preserves ( Or whatever flavor you want. )
Whipped Cream for topping ( Or you could do some other frosting )
Instructions
Mix cake up per instructions. ( you could make from scratch, but I'm lazy )
Put cupcake papers into cupcake pans
Fill papers with cake mix, about 2/3 full
Bake for 12 – 15 minutes, watching for a light brown top
Let cool for a few minutes in pans, then transfer to cooling racks to finish cooling
At this point, I unwrapped the ones I was serving ( they are hard to unwrap, once filled and topped)
Make a thumbprint in the top of each cupcake
Put in some of the fruit filling
Top with the whipped cream ( I used the canned stuff, you can make it from scratch )
Serve, and enjoy.
Notes
Again, all the components could be scratch made, I just think the store bought cake mix and fruit preserves and whipped cream are fine for this.
You could use any filling you like, blueberry, strawberry, orange marmalade, I think all would be a good taste. You could also just push a fresh berry into the cupcake as well.
