As in "Have you checked the price of meat lately?"
You will need
A bowl to mix it up in.
A large fry pan
Something to stir it with. (I find a silicone spatula works well)
A whisk ( but a fork will work if you don't have a whisk)
Some measuring spoons and cups.
Ingredients
3 Tbsp Butter
1 Tbsp Veg Oil
1 1/2 lbs musrooms, chopped fine
2 to 4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups cooked rice, cooled
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium heat
Add the butter and oil
When the butter has melted, stir in the mushrooms and garlic and season with salt and pepper.
Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, until all of the liquid evaporates. Set aside to cool.
In a medium sized bowl, mix together the parsley, egg, breadcrumbs, rice and cheese. Stir in mushrooms and mix until well combined.
Form into patties and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Cook in a skillet for 10 minutes per side, or until golden and crisp, pressing down gently with a spatula as they cook.
Serve on a toasted bun, with Swiss cheese and mustard, or however you like a burger.
ENJOY!
Does it matter what type of rice you use or can you use whatever you happen to have?
