You will need
A mason jar, thoroughly cleaned ( and a jar funnel if you have one )
A pot to boil in
Ingredients
1 cup white vinegar
1 cup water
some cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon salt
8 to 10 jalapeno peppers, thinly sliced
Instructions
Combine the vinegar, water, garlic, sugar, and salt in a medium pot and bring to a boil.
Add jalapeno slices, stir, and remove from heat.
Let sit in brine for at least 10 minutes
Use tongs to move the jalapenos and garlic from the brine into the jar
Cover the peppers with the brine
Let cool some, then move to refrigerator, can store there for up to 2 months
Notes
Use as many garlic cloves as you like, I used a whole garlic bulb.
If you want these less spicy, take the seeds out of the peppers.
You can use any peppers for this, what ever kind you like.
